Thursdays with Lindsay's digi stamps

It is with a heavy heart that I made my Lindsay stamp stuff project this week. My best and longest friend ( we have been friends since kindergarten) lost her mom unexpectently Monday morning. She is none other than our own DT member Tracey. Tracey and her family are in my thoughts and prayers. This is the card I made for her. I used the sea side sketches set. I added some waves and used rock candy distress stickles on them. colored with prisma markers and pencils for shading. a wedding card

My friend Stephanie, from work, got married this past Saturday to the love of her life, and, this is the card I made for them. I got this stamp in an Aussie magazine I bought. I added some lace and embellies I knew she would like. congrats to Steph and Seth

First of all I want to announce a 1 day sale of Lindsay's stamp stuff today..shop til you drop!
my project this week is a very simple atc. I am in a skeleton atc swap..thought for sure I had a skeleton stamp, but, when I went to get it i realized it was a mummy not a skeleton..uh oh.. Well Lindsay's stamp stuff to the rescue, because in the vintage Halloween labels set is this fun label..just perfect all by itself. that is one of teh things I love about digi stamp, easy access when you need something, now. lol don't forget to check out Lindsay's blog to check for a freebie and see what the other fab DT members have been up to. Thursdays with Lindsay's stamp stuff!

witches brew and some treats too!This week I chose to use the vintage halloween labels from Lindsay's stamp stuff. I will give the recipe for my witches brew at the bottom of this post. I love these fun labels, and right now Lindsay is running a 30% off sale so run don't walk to get some cool goodies. the treats are in a triangle shaped paper box I made. This is going to be my hostess gift for teh Halloween party I am going to this year. Don't forget to check Lindsay's blog for a freebie and to see what the oth fab DT members have been up to.

WITCHES BREW
1 20 oz bottle of water -1/2 full
1 single serve packet Chrystal light (I used pomagranet)
tonic or seltzer water
flavored rum ( I used lime)
mix packet in the water, shake well, add enough tonic to fill bottle 3/4 full, add rum to the top, mix and enjoy

owls are in the house!

sewing is not my fave thing to do, but when I saw a pattern for these owls I knew I had to dust off my sewing machine and give it a try. I cut the eyes out using my nesties.

wow a whole week since I have posted? what a bad blogger I have been. the holiday weekend really kept me busy with family get togethers and summer fun. This week my craft area is getting some much needed love. Starting with this card. I used the bird branches digi set from Lindsay's stamp stuff. I love both the branches from this set,, so many ways to use them. Here i added a punched out bird. I also used 2 prima flowers and a brad..easy peasy, but I like how it turned out. It's Lindsay digi stamp Thursday

This week we on the Lindsay stamp stuff dt are showering our sistah DT member with a shower of baby cards in honor of her impending ( at least I think it's still pending) delivery of her baby boy. Good luck with that Tamara!!
