I'm in a down on the farm theme atc swap at the stamp shack and this is my atc for it. First I stamped the chicken then I masked it and stamped the chicken wire background. colored with copics and all stamps are cornish heritage farms.

Cheers-Root beer float anyone?

I love this cute root beer float digi image from Lindsay's stamp stuff. it's so "refreshing" lol. Today I wanted to demonstrate that you can heat emboss with a digi stamp even hours or days after printing it. I hope you can tell that this image has been embossed. How did I do it you ask? well easy peasy. I printed this image days ago, when I was ready to heat emboss it I simply took my versa fine marker and traced the outlines of the image..I only wanted the outside to be embossed to resemble the shine of a real glass of cold float. One of the great things about doing this way is you can emboss only the parts you want, or the whole thing, or some parts thicker than others..lots of options. the ice cream topping I did with liquid applique, ans I colored the image with a combo of copics and bic mark its. I also tried using liquid glaze on the glass, it looked fab, but then you couldn't see my embossing well, and I really wanted to showcase that today.

kitty sympathy card

a friend of mine had to have her 17 year old kitty put to sleep the other day. my heart just breaks for her as I know how much it hurts to say goodbye to our furbabies. I made this kitty sympathy card for her, it has a really ni9ce stamped saying on the inside about the loss of a beloved pet. Unfortunatly I'll need to make another one too as my boss is having her kitty of 25 years put to sleep tomorrow. it has suffered a stroke and not doing well, but 25 years? thats a nice long life for a kitty.

Thursday was such a pretty and sunny day here. I looked out my kitchen window as saw this pretty yellow butterfly on my lilac tree. I grabbed my camera and went out. I took a few photos and watched the butterfly for quite a while. Here is one of the pics I took.

Big news! I'ma guest design team member for Lindsays stamp stuff!!

For the month of June I have been invited to be a guest designer on the Lindsays stamp stuff design team!! Woo hoo!
Here is my first project. I used Lindsays cake digi stamp on my card. This is such a fun stamp to color. Oh ya, and one of the things I love about digi stamps is I can color them with my copic, prisma, and bic markers..I love that!! I made this card today fro my brother Dave to give to a friend tomorrow for her birthday. I showed him my new stamp set and he just had to have a card made with it. the stamps are starvingartistamps. I will post a pic of the outside and the inside.

honey's..I'm home!!

I just got back from the Heirloom Rubber stamp convention in West Springfield Mass. WOW!!! what an super time we had. My awesome friend Mrs Fence and I took off and man, did we ever do it right! My wallet has never been so flat and empty. But I got so many new goodies, I'm just giddy. here is the evidence..err..I mean the goodies I got.

what a bust couple days I've had

BUT..Today I carved out enough time to make a couple cards. one is a fthers day card and the other is a flower all occasion card.
the fathers day card I used Rubbernecker stamps and the floral crad I used Studio G stamps.
