Mothers day cards

These are the cards I made for Gary's mom & my mom for Mothers day. I LOVE the new paper I found at joanns that I made the "mom" card with and I just happened to have matching chipboard embellies!!SWEET! that is the card I made for Gary's mom. I made teh bird/flower card for my mom as she loves both birds and flowers. Happy moms day to all you moms out there

it's an Easter sale!!

Happy Easter to you, and you can treat yourself to some fun things from
Lindsay's stamp stuff on sale. I made a card yesterday that would be great for a boys b-day card, I used the sweet stuff digi stamp set, the up up and away set, and the up up and away papers. I also tried out the tutorial on Lindsay's blog and made my own bakers twine..fun fun! I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Easter.

rain or shine

Here is a card I made with stamps from my favorite things. I did a little paper piecing on her rain coat. the inside of the card says "I'll be there for you"

doily/jar luminary

a friend showed me a link to a jar luminary similar to this and I just knew I had to make this. I used Helmar's acid free glue to adhere the doily to the jar and to my surprise it did not make the doily stiff! I love that it is stills oft on the jar, though trust me it is not coming off. I wanted to make some of these for my craft fair table, so that means I wanted it to have a country/prim feel. so i added some homespun fabric (also adhered with Helmar's acid free glue) and teh I added some prima flowers and buttons with Helmar's 450 quick dry glue..I love this stuff! I will never buy glue dots again. in my pics I have a battery operated tea light ibn teh jar, but a regular tea light candle works well too. I love the pretty designs these luminaries cast on the walls in a darkened room.

I made this atc for an Easter atc swap I[m in over at the stamp shack. I colored it with watercolor crayons. the stamps are by studio G

A project with Lindsay's stamp stuff!

Lindsay's stamp stuff has some really cute new digi stamps and templates out..I just had to play. for this project I used the basket templates and the new sew much fun digi stamp set. I made a basket of sewing goodies that would make a great gift for the sewing enthusiast you know.
